Deep tissue massage
Using slow strokes and deep pressure points, the focus is on deep muscle tissue and aims to release chronic patterns of tension. It is particularly effective in treating neck, shoulder and back tension, whiplash injuries, persistent ‘tension’ headaches and restriction in muscular movement.

Also known as ‘remedial’ or ‘sports’ massage, deep tissue massage is not just beneficial to athletes. It is highly recommended for people with physically demanding jobs and those troubled by postural or emotional stress.

Therapeutic massage
Essentially a means of relaxation, this type of massage is a perfect way to de-stress and relax. The soothing application technique, using gentle strokes and stretches, allows the body and mind time to slow down and gain some respite from the ever-increasing pressures of hectic, modern life.

Therapeutic massage is extremely effective for anyone suffering from fatigue, severe emotional stress or trauma.

What kind of massage is best for you?
Our massage therapists are professionally trained and when you come along for your appointment, they will discuss your condition with you and advise on the best massage therapy to help you.
